Drogs look to bounce back against Waterford

Double-chasing Drogheda United will bid to bounce back from a shock league defeat when Waterford United come to United Park tonight (7.45pm).

Paul Doolin’s side last weekend missed the opportunity to reclaim top spot in the eircom League Premier Division when they were turned over by Longford Town on home soil.

That left United in second spot while they are also set to face Longford once more in the FAI Cup semi-finals.

There is good news on the selection front for Doolin, with Andy Myler appearing to have recovered from a thigh injury while both Danny O’Connor and Alan Reilly should recover from bumps and bruises which forced them to limp out of last week’s match.

Barry Molloy and Aidan Lynch return following suspension. Waterford will again be without ankle injury-victim Pat Purcell and Ben Whelahan is a doubt with a hamstring strain.
