Sturrock named new Wednesday boss
Paul Sturrock arrived at Hillsborough this morning for an 11am press conference where he was set to be unveiled as Sheffield Wednesday’s new manager.
The Coca-Cola League One side sacked Chris Turner after Saturday’s home defeat to Bournemouth.
Sturrock was sacked by Southampton last month but before that built a strong reputation by steering Plymouth to the Third Division title in 2002 and laying the groundwork for their Second Division championship success last season before joining Saints in March this year.
