Charlton defender Chris Powell has joined West Ham on a month’s loan after slipping down the pecking order at The Valley.

Charlton defender Chris Powell has joined West Ham on a month’s loan after slipping down the pecking order at The Valley.

The former England left-back, who was 35 on Wednesday, made just 17 appearances for the Addicks last season and has yet to play any part in the current Barclays Premiership campaign.
