Kirkland staying put

Liverpool goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has dismissed as “complete nonsense” reports he could be sent back to Coventry on loan.

The England Under-21 international joined the Anfield club from the Sky Blues three years ago – almost to the day – but injuries have meant he has struggled to displace Poland keeper Jerzy Dudek.
