Early goals seal win for St Pat's

Goals early in each half gave St. Pat’s a fully deserved second win on the spin as Rovers slumped to a fourth successive league defeat.

Robbie Doyle volleyed Rovers in front on four minutes as Rovers failed to clear a Mark Quinless corner.

That was the fourth goal Rovers had conceded from a corner in three games and they fell to yet another one for St. Pats' second killer goal on 54 minutes.

Colm Foley’s header from Des Byrne’s corner was blocked on the line by Mark Rutherford and Darragh Maguire followed up to blast home.
