Longford throw open gates to thank fans

League Cup winners Longford Town are to throw open the gates of Flancare Park on Saturday night and admit all children for free to watch their premier division clash with Derry City.

The club said it was a way of saying a “massive thank you” to the young fans who turned up on Monday night to support the midlanders in the League Cup Final victory over Bohemians.
