Waterford United have loaned three players out to first division clubs ahead of today’s transfer window deadline.

Waterford United have loaned three players out to first division clubs ahead of today’s transfer window deadline.

Goalkeeper David Hennessy has joined Cobh Ramblers while defender Kenny Browne and midfielder Ian Ryan have gone to Kilkenny City.

All loan deals will run until the end of the season and United player-manager Alan Reynolds said: "The players need first-team matches and I believe this is the right way for them to get experience."
