Chelsea sign Morais

Chelsea have today announced the signing of Nuno Morais – another player from Portugal.

The 20-year-old defender has signed on a three-year contract from Portuguese second division club Penafiel and follows compatriots Tiago, Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira to the club.

Morais has been on trial at Stamford Bridge and manager Jose Mourinho made the decision to sign him before the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday.
