Manchester United have confirmed they have made a bid for Everton striker Wayne Rooney.

Manchester United have confirmed they have made a bid for Everton striker Wayne Rooney.

The offer is believed to be £20m (€29.7m), which would match Newcastle’s bid for the 18-year-old England striker.

United are waiting for a response from their Barclays Premiership rivals.
