Cork City to release up to five players

Cork City wiill release four or five of the first team squad next week, today's Evening Echo newspaper reported.

Club chairman Brian Lennox confirmed he had no option but to trim his sails and reduce the existing 33-man squad, 16 of whom are professionals.
