United in control at Old Trafford

Manchester United lead Norwich 2-0 at Old Trafford today.

United had an early scare as Norwich's on-loan Arsenal striker David Bentley hammered the crossbar with a 35-yard effort on 32 minutes.

But just a minute later David Bellion was on hand to flick home Alan Smith's wayward header to give United the lead.

United are firmly in control and made it 2-0 when Alan Smith controlled the ball, swiveled and struck a magnificent volley off the far post.
