Vikings plunder point in Cork

Alan Bennett rescued a point for Cork as bottom of the table Vikings almost raided all three points from a plucky display at Turner's Cross.

Cork's George O'Callaghan had a seventh minute penalty saved by Barry Ryan as Roddy Collins' new look side refused to capitulate.

Robbie Farrell then tapped the ball home after Gary O'Neill had twice hit the woodwork to put Vikings in front on 52 minutes. Bennett levelled on 73 minutes when heading home Liam Kearney's corner.
