The 34-year-old was found guilty of gross unsporting conduct by the European governing body over an incident during the Champions League third qualifying round, first leg tie 2-1 defeat at CSKA Moscow last Tuesday.

The former Wolves and Sunderland man appeared to kick CSKA player Serghei Dadu in the head during a challenge in the 79th minute.
