Gerrard happy to stick with Liverpool

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will embark on the new Premiership season insisting he “made the right decision” to turn his back on Chelsea in the summer.

The 24-year-old has consistently been told by critics that he should have turned his back on Anfield and grabbed the mega-bucks deal, particularly now with Michael Owen on his way out and another English pal Danny Murphy having also been sold by new boss Rafael Benitez.
