Deportivo name strong side to face Shels

Deportivo La Coruna have named a strong side for the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Shelbourne on Wednesday.

The Spaniards have already said they will not be treating the Shelbourne threat lightly and the team for Wednesday night reflects this.

Walter Pandiani is the frontman in a four-player attacking diamond, with playmaker Juan Carlos Valeron just in front of the midfield.

Victor Sanchez and Alberto Luque will start on the left and right wings respectively, with Mauro Silva returning to the midfield.
