FA remain tight-lipped

The English Football Association tonight imposed a media blackout over the ‘Svengate’ affair.

After a fortnight of statement and counter-statement which has resulted in one of the most embarrassing PR shambles in living memory, Soho Square officials, fearful of prejudicing their own enquiry have decided against making a statement or public pronouncement on today’s comings and goings at FA headquarters.
