Drobny close to Villa deal

Aston Villa boss David O’Leary is closing in on a deal to bring Czech international defender Vaclav Drobny to the Barclays Premmiership on a one-year loan deal.

The Racing Club Strasbourg player impressed O’Leary during the club’s tour of Sweden and is now hoping for a chance to test himself in the English top flight.
