Liverpool have been drawn to play Austrian side Graz AK in the Champions League third qualifying round.

Liverpool, under new boss Rafael Benitez, are hoping to secure a return to the group stages of Europe’s elite competition after a season’s absence.

The Reds, who finished fourth in the Premiership last season, will play the away leg of the tie first.

Meanwhile Shelbourne will face Deportivo La Coruna if they can reach the Champions League third qualifying round

The currently trail Hadjuk Split 3-2 after the second round, first leg in Croatia on Wednesday night.

A late goal from Alan Moore has given them real hope of booking a money-spinning tie with the Spanish Primera Liga club after next Wednesday’s second leg at Tolka Park.

The third-round matches will be played on August 10 or 11 and August 24 or 25, with Deportivo at home in the first leg.

Rangers were last drawn with CSKA in 1992-93, the Champions League’s first season.
