Souness wants Yorke to stay

Graeme Souness has told Dwight Yorke that he has an important role at Blackburn and has challenged him to be a role model for young players this season.

Yorke impressed his manager when he returned to the Rovers line-up in a 2-0 friendly win at Stockport yesterday and is one of five strikers competing for a first-team place.
