The Football Association of Ireland has hit out at claims from Cork City that they have been unfairly dealt with in their fixtures programme.

The Leesiders, who crashed out of the FAI Cup last night to UCD, were unhappy about the way they were being asked to clear the backlog of domestic fixtures caused by their extended run in the InterToto Cup.
