Mido set to leave Marseille for England

Promising Egyptian striker Mido is set to leave Marseille on loan after all - but not until the French club have secured a replacement for Chelsea-bound Didier Drogba.

The future of the 20-year-old has become confused with Manchester City claiming they did not pursue an attempt to sign him because their indications were that Marseille wanted an up-front transfer fee for the player.
