Gianfranco Zola will make a farewell appearance for Chelsea in the club’s only home pre-season friendly on Sunday, August 8.

The Italian was a firm favourite with Blues fans and the takeover of the club by Roman Abramovich came just too late for a deal to be done to keep him.
