Tottenham tour ends with defeat

Tottenham’s Scandinavian adventure ended with a 1-0 defeat to FC Trollhattan this afternoon.

Midfielder Pedro Mendes and Hungarian goalkeeper Marton Fulop made their Spurs debuts but two causes for concern were injuries to Lee Barnard and Jamie Slabber.

Mendes was introduced as a second-half substitute and almost created an equaliser when his pass found Dean Marney, but his shot lacked power.

Robbie Keane chipped the ball just over with two minutes to go after latching onto Rohan Ricketts’ pass.
