Finances may force Drogba sale, admit Marseille

Chelsea may be able to prise Didier Drogba away from Marseille by increasing their £19m (€28m) bid for the Ivory Coast striker.

The Blues’ initial attempts to sign Drogba have been resisted by Marseille, but the cash-strapped French club have since dropped broad hints that a more substantial offer may prove successful.
