Rooney advisors deny Real meeting

Wayne Rooney’s management team tonight flatly denied that a meeting had taken place between chief executive Paul Stretford and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Perez was last night re-elected to the role by a massive majority and is understood to be keen on securing the services of the 18-year-old England striker.
