Pompey land Premiership duo

Portsmouth have completed the signings of Everton defender David Unsworth and Newcastle striker Lomana LuaLua, according to BBC Radio Solent.

Unsworth and LuaLua were due to travel to the club for medicals today.

LuaLua, 23, was on loan at Portsmouth from Newcastle last season and played his part in the successful battle against relegation.

Unsworth, 30, joins on a free transfer.

Pompey have also agreed a deal with Preston for striker Ricardo Fuller, which is expected to be completed later this week.
