Shels held to draw by Derry
Derry City 0 Shelbourne 0
Shels’ boss Pat Fenlon was sent from the dugout as his side opened up an eleven point gap at the top overnight after a dour tussle at the Brandywell.
Both sides had chances in either half.
Stuart Byrne headed over from David Crawley's free-kick for Shels while Ciaran Martyn was over the top with a shot at the other end.
Jason Byrne wasted Shels' best chance six minutes from time when he tripped as he was about to pull the trigger.
Derry's Alan Murphy had earlier missed a sitter when he shot over from Damien Brennan’s cross.
