Leeds chairman Gerald Krasner is to meet director David Richmond later today to discuss which players will be next to exit the club.

Krasner made it clear at the weekend that more players would be leaving Elland Road this week with the club desperate to lower their wage bill.

James Milner and Stephen McPhail both left the club last Friday, for Newcastle and Barnsley respectively, while Mark Viduka is on the verge of a move to Middlesbrough.

Manager Kevin Blackwell needs to know soon which players he will have available for the season if he is to plot a swift return to the Premiership.

Krasner confirmed: “I will be having a meeting with David Richmond this afternoon and will be saying nothing before then.”
