Former Real Madrid boss Carlos Queiroz has urged David Beckham to follow the disciplined line of team-mate Luis Figo if he wants to succeed at the Bernabeu.

Since being axed as coach by Madrid at the end of a trophy-less season, Queiroz has returned to his old job as assistant to Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
