Viduka undergoes medical at Boro

Leeds striker Mark Viduka is undergoing a medical at Middlesbrough’s Rockcliffe Park training ground this afternoon with a view to finalising a deal.

Boro boss Steve McClaren has been looking to strengthen the club’s firepower this summer and has made his move for the 28-year-old Australia international.

McClaren told Boro’s website, www.mfc.premiumtv.co.uk: “I can confirm that Mark is at the club today.

“He will be taking a medical and we will be looking to finalise details of a deal to make him a Middlesbrough player within the next day or two.”
