Mourinho adds to Rooney praise

Chelsea head coach Jose Mourinho has singled out England striker Wayne Rooney as the top man at Euro 2004 and predicts he will star on the biggest stage for years to come.

Rooney scored twice in England’s 3-0 win over Switzerland and also played well against France where he won a penalty that was missed by his captain David Beckham.
