Marcel Desailly has been left out of France’s starting line-up to face England tomorrow.
National team boss Jacques Santini today confirmed the veteran Chelsea defender would only be on the bench for the Group B game in Lisbon.
France’s central defence pairing will be Manchester United’s Mikael Silvestre and Lilian Thuram.
