Heinze signs five year deal at United

Gabriel Heinze has signed a five-year contract with Manchester United, according to the player.

The 26-year-old Argentina international completed his move to Old Trafford today after reportedly passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

The transfer fee is believed to be around £6m (€9m).

Earlier Heinze revealed he had no idea which defensive role he will fill when he joins Manchester United.
