Parry keen to appease Liverpool stars

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has revealed Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen will be consulted over who should replace Gerard Houllier in the Anfield hotseat.

Owen has admitted he will wait to see who the new boss is before signing a new contract while Gerrard has also made it known that he is keeping a close eye on the managerial search.
