Benitez reveals Reds approach

Valencia coach Rafael Benitez has revealed that Liverpool have been in touch with his agent over the managerial vacancy at Anfield.

Benitez, who is one of the names in the frame to succeed Gerard Houllier, yesterday moved to play down speculation linking him with Liverpool.
