Matthew Upson has vowed to put behind him the disappointment of missing out on a place in the England squad for the Euro 2004 finals.

The Birmingham defender was a squad regular under Sven-Goran Eriksson until he suffered an ankle injury in the FA Cup clash with Blackburn at St Andrews in early January.
