Ireland and Wales have been unsuccessful in their joint request to have tomorrow's Four Nations matches (Wales v Ireland, 12.30pm and Scotland v England, 3.30pm) kick-off simultaneously.

The tournament's organising committee heard the submission at its meeting last night but ruled that, as numerous arrangements concerning both matches were already in place, the kick-off times would stand.
