Ingham gets N. Ireland call
Sunderland goalkeeper Michael Ingham has been included in Northern Ireland’s 20-man squad for their tour to the Caribbean at the end of the month.
Ingham, currently on loan at Wrexham, is chosen because Manchester United’s Roy Carroll and Alan Blayney of Southampton are both unavailable.
The Irish League is represented by strikers Andy Smith of Glentoran and Portadown’s Gary Hamilton.
Northern Ireland will play Barbados on May 30, St Kitts and Nevis on June 2 and Trinidad and Tobago on June 6.
Northern Ireland squad for Caribbean Tour:
Taylor, Ingham; Baird, Murdock, Craigan, Williams, Capaldi; Gillespie, Jones, Whitley, Mulryne, Johnson, Doherty, Elliott, Sonner; Healy, Smith, Hamilton, McVeigh, Quinn.
