O'Neill brings out strongest side

Martin O’Neill opted to name his strongest possible line-up for Celtic's final Bank of Scotland Premier League match of the season at a sun-baked Parkhead today in preparation for next week’s Tennent’s Scottish Cup final against Dunfermline at Hampden Park.

That meant the champions had seven changes from the side which drew at Motherwell in midweek with Johan Mjallby, Stephen McManus, Liam Miller, Paul Lambert, Ross Wallace, Aiden McGeady and Craig Beattie missing out on the final Parkhead farewell.

In came Henrik Larsson, for his last competitive match for the Hoops, Jackie McNamara, Bobo Balde, Alan Thompson, Chris Sutton, Didier Agathe and Stilian Petrov.

Dundee United manager Ian McCall made just one change from the 11 which beat Dunfermline with Craig Easton also saying farewell to the club, in place of Derek McInnes.
