Final chance for Keane

Roy Keane’s chances of appearing in the FA Cup final hinge on him making tomorrow’s final Premiership encounter at Aston Villa.

The Manchester United skipper has started just four out of the last 14 games after being plagued by a hamstring problem, although manager Alex Ferguson is confident the Irishman will be fit.

If Ferguson decides to trial his likely side for the Millennium Stadium encounter with Millwall, it could be bad news for Roy Carroll and Nicky Butt, who are both expected to be on the bench, along with Louis Saha, who is cup-tied next week anyway. Quinton Fortune (knee) and Rio Ferdinand (eight-month ban) have long since been ruled out for the season.
