Tangerines survive Pars comeback
Dundee United 3 Dunfermline 2
Dundee United survived a spirited Dunfermline comeback to claim three points and strengthen their grip on fifth place in the Bank of Scotland Premier League.
Jimmy Calderwood’s Tennent’s Scottish Cup finalists were uncharacteristically disorganised in defence during the first half, allowing Charlie Miller, Chris Innes and Jason Scotland to fire the Tannadice side into a commanding lead within 30 minutes.
However, the Fifers fought back and reduced the deficit to one thanks to goals from Lee Bullen and Stevie Crawford.
