Gravesen and Kilbane miss Wolves clash
Everton will be missing Thomas Gravesen (knee) and Kevin Kilbane (hamstring) for tomorrow’s trip to Wolves, where they still need three points to be mathematically safe from the drop.
Gary Naysmith has returned to training after suffering ankle ligament damage during last weekend’s home defeat by Blackburn but is still a major doubt.
Alan Stubbs (groin) and Kevin Campbell (virus) are back in full training and should be in the squad.
Striker Duncan Ferguson is now available after his lengthy suspension following the various incidents at Leicester last month, but he is unlikely to be considered fit enough for an immediate recall.
If Naysmith does not make the trip to the Premiership’s bottom club, Alessandro Pistone could switch from right to left back and allow Tony Hibbert to return on the right of defence while Alex Nyarko and James McFadden could come into a reshaped midfield.
Provisional squad: Martyn, Hibbert, Weir, Yobo, Stubbs, Pistone, Naysmith, McFadden, Linderoth, Nyarko, Carsley, Watson, Rooney, Radzinski, Campbell, Ferguson, Jeffers, Wright, Unsworth.
