Bolton's Rivaldo deal moves closer

Bolton today claimed they have yet to agree terms with Brazilian World Cup star Rivaldo.

One of Rivaldo’s agents insists the player accepted a deal after meeting with club officials in Manchester last week.

But Rivaldo is currently back in his native Brazil and Bolton say news of any agreement is premature.

A Bolton spokesman said: “Rivaldo is back in Brazil and he has not signed anything. We are not aware that he has agreed terms as yet.”
