Chelsea 'to bid for Joaquin and Salgado'

Chelsea are set to bid for Real Betis winger Joaquin and Real Madrid defender Michel Salgado, the Daily Star says.

Chelsea are set to bid for Real Betis winger Joaquin and Real Madrid defender Michel Salgado, the Daily Star says.

Real Betis president Manuel Ruiz De Lopera claims he has turned down a bid from Chelsea which was at least £35m (€52m).

The Blues hope to sign Salgado for £4m (€5.9m).
