Newcastle manager Bobby Robson will hold a fitness check ahead of Sunday’s vital Barclaycard Premiership clash with Chelsea.

Robson is again likely to be without hamstring victims Craig Bellamy and Keiron Dyer, while Lee Bowyer, who missed the 0-0 UEFA Cup semi-final draw with Marseilles on Thursday night with a similar problem, remains a doubt.
