Newcastle to play Marseilles in semis

Newcastle will play Marseille in the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup after the French side completed a 2-0 aggregate win over Inter Milan tonight.

Fabien Barthez was superb in goal at the San Siro as Marseille produced a fine backs-to-the-wall display to defend their 1-0 first-leg lead and snatch victory.
