Sutton set to start for Celtic
Celtic striker Chris Sutton is poised to play in the UEFA Cup quarter-final, second leg tie with Villarreal.
The influential forward was forced to hobble off after scoring twice in Sunday’s Tennent’s Scottish Cup semi-final win over Livingston with a groin injury.
But Parkhead boss Martin O’Neill must make one change with Alan Thompson suspended after being booked during the 1-1 draw in the first leg last week.
His place in the team is likely to go to Manchester United-bound Liam Miller while Jackie McNamara has shrugged off a knock.
Provisional squad: Marshall, Agathe, Balde, Varga, McNamara, Petrov, Lennon, Pearson, Miller, Larsson, Sutton, Douglas, Valgaeren, Lambert, Mjallby, Beattie, Smith, McManus.
