Van Nistelrooy returns for United

Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to return to action for Manchester United in Tuesday’s Barclaycard Premiership clash with Leicester at Old Trafford after missing the FA Cup semi-final with Arsenal and the weekend win at Birmingham with a knee injury.

Midfielder Roy Keane could also return after missing the game at St Andrews with what Alex Ferguson described as “a few knocks” sustained in the Arsenal game.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is slowly returning to match fitness after his long injury lay-off and played for an hour against Birmingham.
