Houllier admits 'stick' has hit Reds' confidence

Gerard Houllier has admitted that his players’ confidence has been affected by the constant “stick” they have received this season.

And the Liverpool chief took the opportunity after his side’s biggest win of the season – a 4-0 hammering of Blackburn yesterday – and their return to fourth place in the Premiership, to hit back at the critics.
