Hutton pens Rangers deal
Rangers defender Alan Hutton has signed a new three-year deal after scoring his first goal for the club last night.
The 19-year-old made his first full appearance of the season against Dundee at the weekend before hitting home in the 4-1 win over Dunfermline at Ibrox.
And Hutton has capped a remarkable few days by putting pen to paper on a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2007.
Hutton told Rangers News: “I’m absolutely delighted to have signed a new deal and it’s great to know I’m tied to the club for the next three years.
“I’m so happy, it’s been a fantastic week. I can now just concentrate on my football and, hopefully, show the manager what I am capable of.
“I’ve been desperate to get my chance and now I’ve been given it, I have to make sure I take it.”
